How do you begin a blogpost when it’s so long since you wrote a proper one that you can’t really remember how you used to do it? Why you did it? What you used to write about at all? I suppose, as with most things, you just start, right where you are. And where I am right now, is behind a makeshift desk in the attic of my parents house with a cup of hot chocolate, while outside clouds and blue sky chase each other. I just came home from my new part time job, which has nothing to do whatsoever with this space here or any skills related to it and that’s why I enjoy it so much. I need that variation; one occupation giving me energy and excitement for the other. Windward Made has been on the back burner for a while, with all the changes in my life taking up most of my energy. But now that things are starting to settle down a bit, new ideas are creeping back in along with the excitement to pursue them. I’m already in a happy place, but having that excitement for what I do back in my life feels so good. I haven’t got much to share yet though; I’ve just hesitatingly started scribbling down some of my ideas yesterday. But, it’s a start.
How has life been treating you? What have you been up to?
